What to write about?????

Since this is my first Blog, I am really not sure what to write about. I guess just about whatever pops into my head. I am really excited about going to the Art & Soul retreat the first weekend in May in Hampton, Va. I am signed up to take Sally Jean Alexander's class on "Soldering for Virgins" on Friday May 2nd and Thomas Ashman's class on Saturday May 3rd on "Mini Copper Journal". I have been wanting to get experienced working with metal and this will be my chance. I have been working on SWAPs to trade while I am there. I am making really cool tags to trade. I should have about 60 - 70 by the time I am finished. I also am participating in the mini Fat Book. I need to turn in 45 pages by this time next month There are 42 ladies participating in this and all 42 pages will be bound together from each artist and then we will have a Fat Book of all of our works. I am also signed up to participate in a journal SWAP. This is just exchanging emphemera and goodies with others who enjoy making journals. I will write more from time to time about how this whole event is going down. This will be a first for me. I am not one to just venture off by myself like this, but hubby sure would be bored tagging along, besides I deserve this mini vacation and I am going to get to meet some really great people who enjoy the same interest that I have with art. Well, I have spent some time on this tonight, so I have to be going for now. I hope to add more soon. Thanks for reading....Erin

  2. Erin! So happy you're blogging. I have 2! One for art and one for, well, everything. This looks great already. Sounds like you are a very busy lady. My sister did hair for around 25 years, with her own shop the last 10 years. She retired just a couple of years ago at age 54 and, since they were unable to have children, is now in the process of adopting babies (2 of them) from China.
You can come see me at More Than Enough or at Never Enough Atcs
