Well, As you know I do not write in here too often, but I did feel it was time that I added to this blog, after all it is in every Email that goes out from me. I have a friend, Jean that I have enjoyed doing artsy things with. I have taken a few crash courses in Enameling from her. She is definately the one "in the know" about this topic. She makes some absolutely beautiful things. She is also such a inspiration to me with my art. She gives me so much encouragement. Today we went to A Flea Market near by and had a blast. We both got some really cool stuff. I happened across a great sale on old brass handles and things that I can use to embellish my Copper Journals. I think Jean got more excited about rutting through the boxes of brass than I did. Boy can that lady rut, she is also quite the deal maker. We also hit an Antique shop, but not much happening there. The entire weekend was good. The weather was nice and sunny. I even got a little red today while I was out.
Yesterday, (Saturday) my brother and I worked on my Water Garden. I got a new pump and filter for it and I got that all hooked up now. I also took my son Seth out driving because he is going for his License on Tuesday. He is so excited. He also just got hired at our local McDonalds. He said to me the other day, "Mom this is gonna be the best summer of my life. I have a job, I will be able to drive, and I have a girlfriend." Ah, to be 17 again. Wouldn't it be great?
My hubby is a promoter for a Professional Wrestling Group that he has and he has been so busy getting ready for a few shows that he has coming up this summer. One of which will be June 20th at the Chambersburg Recreation Center, call (717)701-9710 for more info, ask for Johnny Graham, PWE.name http://www.pwe.name (shameless plug)
Tonight was the season premiere of Army Wives, I love that show, so glad it is back on. I watched that and then I worked on a few journals. I have a Showcase coming up on Wednesday on Etsy and I would like to add a few more journals to the store before then. Business has been good and the journals are starting to roll out the door. I sold 3 last week. Well, It is really late and this girl is tired from all of the walking at the flea market. Thanks for stopping in to read . Have a great week!!!
